Cream Cheese Danish

Ingredients:

2 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese

2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup 4-X confectioner's sugar mixed with 3 tsp water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 Separate egg and save egg white to brush on the crust before baking. Sprinkle flour on wax paper. Place contents of one package of the crescent roll onto a floured surface and roll out to fit a 9 x 13 pan. Soften cream cheese in the microwave for 90 seconds. Mix with egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla until blended. Spread-over rolls. Place contents of the second package of crescent roll on floured wax paper and again roll to fit 9 x 13 in a pan. Place on top of cream cheese. Beat egg white with a fork until foamy and brush on the top layer of rolls. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Top with sugar & water mixture.
