Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
2 cup pecan halves or roasted peanuts
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Directions:
Blend sugar, brown sugar, salt, and evaporated milk. Cook to 232 degrees (soft stage). Remove from heat. Add vanilla, butter, and pecans. Beat just until candy begins to thicken. Drop by tablespoons onto was paper. Candy hardens quickly.
